        The voltage and charging algorithm of the lead-acid battery and the lithium-ion battery are completely different, so two types of plugs are designed.

        The national standard of the new national standard charger for electric vehicles mainly has two requirements:

The lead-acid battery plug adopts the form of two power pins and two communication pins (2+2), while the lithium-ion battery adopts the form of two power pins and four communication pins (2+4).
